At The Leather Laundry, every piece passes through the hands of UK-certified leather technicians. Founded by Mallika Sharma - trained at the Leather Technical Training (LTT) Institute in the UK - our atelier is the only studio in India operating to authentic European luxury-house standards.
We never use generic dyes, mass-market conditioners or aggressive solvents. Every pigment, polish, thread and adhesive is sourced from specialist suppliers used by Hermès, Bottega Veneta and Louis Vuitton's own ateliers - ensuring the result is invisible to the trained eye and built to last for years.

Italian and Spanish leather pigments — the same brands used by luxury houses for repairs. Custom-mixed in-house to match your item's exact tone, fade-resistant for years.
Waxed-cotton and bonded-nylon threads matched to original gauge. Hand-stitched on saddle-stitch awls — stronger than machine stitching and visually flawless.
Microfibre, alcantara and treated cotton linings sourced from European mills — colour-matched to the original interior and pre-shrunk for a flawless fit.
Original buckles, zips, chains and feet are gold-, silver- or palladium-replated rather than swapped — preserving the authenticity and brand value of every piece.
We don't believe in fixed price-lists for luxury restoration — every piece is unique. Send us clear photos on WhatsApp and we'll come back within 30 minutes with a detailed, itemised quote tailored to your specific item, condition and finish requirements.
UV is the single biggest enemy of leather colour. Keep restored pieces in their dust-bag, away from windows and direct sun.
A pH-neutral leather conditioner every three months keeps fibres supple and stops the surface from cracking again.
Avoid wearing or using leather in heavy rain. If it gets wet, blot — do not rub — and air-dry away from heaters.
Use bags and shoes in rotation. Resting between uses lets leather recover its shape and prevents creasing in the same spot.
