The Leather Laundry was born in 2015 with a bold idea: India's luxury leather owners deserved world-class care. At the time, the only option for a damaged Hermès bag or scuffed Louboutins was an overseas repair service or an unreliable local cobbler.
Backed by a parent company with 40 years in the leather manufacturing business, we built our studio with the finest tools, the most authentic materials, and a team of artisans trained in traditional and contemporary restoration techniques.

Our primary focus will always be to offer immaculate quality. We want to cater to a niche segment of discerning customers who seek quality and practice ethical consumerism. We intend to build a culture of leather care in India.

Mallika Sharma, the passionate founder of The Leather Laundry, is a second-generation entrepreneur who is resolutely committed to preserving her father's goodwill and taking his legacy forward! Under her discerning eye, every leather article that enters TLL's workshop receives unparalleled care. She guides and supervises her staff at every step of the way.
Armed with a postgraduate degree in finance & investment from the UK along with being a certified leather care technician, she swears by the venture, constantly striving to learn and innovate!
